Open day at Al-Rahma- Building Understanding, Peace, and Unity
In collaboration with Scouse Muslims, Visit My Mosque, and Meet Your Muslim Neighbour, Al-Rahma Mosque is hosting an Open Day on Sunday, September 29th, from 12 PM to 4 PM at 29-31 Hatherley St, Liverpool. This event welcomes non-Muslims and people from all backgrounds to experience the mosque and gain insights into Islam in a warm, friendly environment.
Given the troubling rise in far-right riots, Islamophobia, and racism, this Open Day is a chance to bridge divides, foster peace, and promote understanding. Al-Rahma Mosque offers a unique space to meet your Muslim neighbours and engage in meaningful dialogue.
Activities at Al-Rahma Open Day will include:
● Mosque tours
● Islamic exhibitions
● Free literature
● Free Quran stand
● Question and Answer session
● Try a hijab experience
● Food provided
● Open discussions
This event is about spreading compassion, building trust, and creating unity within the community. Everyone is welcome, regardless of background or faith. Join us to celebrate diversity and learn more about your local Muslim community.
We look forward to welcoming you at Al-Rahma Mosque for a day of understanding, learning, and connection! Together, we can foster understanding and respect.
